I lived in Dahab in 1981, no electricity, no running waater, no hotels or restaurants, just 4 coffeehouses, Hamed's, is this the same vegetable Hamed you all speak of? Wadid's by the lighthouse, one other I forget and the one I worlked at The Crazy Camel, someone else mentioned it, What became of that family who ran it, the Swiss family she was French, I think her name is Annette, I just saw the pictures of the bay and can't believe it is the same place I fell in love with. I will scan some old pictures and put them in eventually, I have lots. Its been 26 yrs and I am newly re-obsessed, I will come to visit, maybe next yeaer. I wouod love to be filled in on the people I met. It semms as if the world has fallen in love with Dahab in the meantime. I have a lot of catching up to do.

I used to sit on the beach at night and see the Milky Way.
