yeah there used to be a shredding machine, and a few people used to collect the empty plastic bottles to be shredded and was sent back to Cairo by the ton for cash. Plastic bottles are recycled quiet alot in dahab. The plastic of the bottle can be melted again for recycling. THe real problem is the plastic bag which can not recycle.
This happened with bottles until they made a law on the factories for making the bottles in recycling material. So they could do that too with plastic bags.Because if it is then there would be a value. And the bags would be collected for money.
The trash system is not doing its proper job!
Bust the ones who litter! dafa wala habz! pay or bust!
Deposit for plastic bottles is not going work only if its from the factory.
